    Dr. Cynthia Nicholson is Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Michigan Medicine. She is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist, who provides expertise in the distinct features, developmental needs and considerations for diagnosis and treatment of pediatric skin and dermatological disorders. Dr. Nicholson sees patients in our pediatric dermatology clinic at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

    Dr. Nicholson received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her transitional year internship at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital before joining the Henry Ford Health Department of Dermatology as the C.S. Livingood Clinical Research Fellow. Dr. Nicholson returned to Wayne State University School of Medicine for her dermatology residency, and subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She held faculty appointments in dermatology and pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School prior to joining the University of Michigan Medical School Department of Dermatology in 2023.
