Tuition for the Postbac MEDPREP is based on undergraduate upper division pricing for classes in the Medical School, with an additional one-time non refundable course fee for MEDPREP 401. The total tuition for the program could start at $29,000, based on residency and number of terms of enrollment based on your individualized curriculum plan.
The University of Michigan Registrar’s Office establishes the residency status for each incoming student. Applicants who have a question about whether they qualify for in-state or out-of state residency should visit the Residency Classification Office website. In general, the verification process for residency can take 10-12 weeks.
As a non-degree, non-certificate program, we realize that the costs of attending a full-time premedical post-baccalaureate program can be expensive. U.S. Citizens and permanent U.S. resident applicants interested in financial aid may be eligible for various loans outside of Postbac MEDPREP.
