Pioneers in Research
Access to world-class amenities
As part of the University of Michigan, PIBS is connected to a strong research community, one that is steeped in a long history of groundbreaking science. Our pioneering efforts are possible because of a dynamic environment that is traditionally well funded and supported by state-of-the-art facilities in close proximity, encouraging interdisciplinary interaction and innovation. As a PIBS student, you will benefit greatly from access to these world-class amenities — and the people associated with them.
Biomedical Research Core Facilities
The Biomedical Research Core Facilities are a collection of campus-wide, centralized laboratories for developing and providing state-of-the-art biomedical research resources, and are available on a fee-for-service basis to the entire biomedical research community throughout the University of Michigan.
Biomedical Science Research Building
The Biomedical Science Research Building was planned around scientific themes rather than the traditional department model, allowing faculty with related research interests to be in close proximity for collaboration and innovation.
Core Technology Alliance
