The Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development at the U-M Medical School is a dual office responsible for all faculty personnel actions as well as the career and professional development of our faculty.

The Office of Faculty Affairs team handles the appointments and promotions process, leaves of absence, and other topics relevant to faculty appointments at the University, while the Office of Faculty Development team is dedicated to providing career and professional development workshops and resources to our faculty.

Together, we provide a comprehensive faculty life-cycle hub for all faculty and department support staff.
