Current Positions

Join our expanding Academic Primary Care faculty. This position will provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting with teaching opportunities. There are also opportunities to engage in population management and quality/safety activities. Prior training or clinical experience in an academic teaching environment is preferred.

The ideal candidate would have strong managerial skills to help support and mentor a growing team of staff and students working on currently funded projects under Dr. Pooja Lagisetty and other collaborators, strong writing skills to write peer-reviewed manuscripts and grants, and a desire to develop an independent research portfolio within 3-5 years. Academic rank, faculty track, and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Successful applicants will be expected to continue and grow a robust extramurally funded research program that complements current ongoing studies around substance use disorder and chronic pain within the Division. These studies employ a variety of research methodologies including but not limited to large database analysis, policy evaluation, development and evaluation of mobile health interventions to address stigma and bias, and pragmatic trials of collaborative care models within primary care clinics. The ideal candidate would be able to support ongoing project management of currently funded projects while also collaborating to develop new proposals for future innovative studies.
